Oklahoma Technical College offers lifetime career services to all eligible graduates. Career services include assistance with resume writing, interviewing, identifying job openings, and other job search activities. Graduates who require additional assistance after their initial employment should contact the College to provide updated resume information. Job placement services are also available to current students.

While the Career Services team plays an active role in searching for job leads and pursuing and maintaining relationships with employers, the function of the department is to assist students in mastering their job seeking skills and landing that job of their dreams!  Be assured that our graduates are in high demand!

The Placement PriorityJob SkillsEarn While LearningThe Student's Success

Our Career Services department is devoted to assisting students and recent graduates to obtain entry-level opportunities in the automotive and welding industries.

OTC offers our graduates life time placement assistance. However, while placement is a priority, it is not a guarantee. Graduates are expected to take an active role in their search for employment.

The key factors in finding your first job after graduating from OTC are determination and an open mind. It might take doing the simpler tasks at first or moving to a remote location to get your foot in the door, but students that are determined to work in the industry ultimately find a way.

The Career Services department will educate students on what they can expect upon entering the job market. Entry-level positions, job search techniques, market size, relocation, interviewing skills, salary information and budget preparation are the topics covered through class discussion, activities and assignments.
